'Turner.' "Is he like a school official?" He asked but Robin was already walking away. He wasn't going to give up so easily. He would try again. Maybe after school. Turner couldn't keep guard aaall the time. He hoped. Jon smiled as he spun around on his way towards Franklin. It was a good day.
--------
Lola had been kind of surprised when the girl changed. It had happened so fast, and looked so effortless and painless! But she had lasted so long! And then the strict man came with the clipboard and took them away. She stuck out her lower lip as she thought. She wished she was better at coming up with plans to help people.
She could...throw Henry on the back of the guy... He was pretty quick, the guy would have to use both hands to catch him, so he would have to put the foxes down and they could get away. And then she could run, she knew Henry would find her again. He always did. But she would feel bad if she just left him. And what if the guy took him? She sighed exasperated. What if she tossed her lizard on him and he just kept walking? Then he'd have three of them! Lola helplessly watched Nyx and Shiesta get carried away.
But thank goodness there were better students here. One girl had come to the rescue. Lola watched the scene, hoping that it worked.
---------
Oka bit her bottom lip. She knew, she knew the signs, she knew what they meant. She crept back up behind Ulrik and peered at the two from behind him, she stroked a gloved hand down his shoulder to calm him. In a shy, quiet voice Oka managed to get out "I know, but..."

"There was a non-morpher still on the premises of the property, if you remember your boyfriend had not completely exited. He would remember all information that he heard and he knew how much Robin pressed the rules from the past. She was his biggest adversary. "As well, my birthday is passing in a week. If you had done your research you would know this detail."
Turner still held the foxes but a little less strict since they seemed to have calmed down a bit. As they were conversing, the Dean came walking down the stairs from the direction that was his office. He stared at the situation and almost immediately knew what was happening. It was a repeat of what happened almost every week or day of last year and probably likely to happen again, and just as often, this year.
He smiled, feeling that since it is the first day back, to give the kids a break. He placed a hand on the one fox and said a word or two until the fox started changing back into a human. With the changes, Turner had no choice but to let go of the fox-girl. He held the other one still. "Let them go. I know the rules, just as well as you Turner, but it is the first day of school and it's easy to forget the rules that are in place here. Nyx and Sheista, please be more aware next time of your surroundings. Robin, thank you for your help with reminding Turner of the rules. Turner, you will have to be careful once you do turn 18."
He turned away from the group with a, "Also, Turner, you forgot another franklin student that seemed to have gotten into Rozlyn property. She goes by the name of Tabitha; I think you know her. Now, I believe the bell is about to ring so hurry to your classes", just as the bell sounded.
Turner hated being told that he was wrong or off on his rules and how he handles them. He also very much disliked the fact that Robin was the one in the right. It was one of the only people that irked him to this point. "You were lucky that Robin was here. Do not let that happen again." He turned on his heels, not wanting to look Robin in the eyes at the moment.
He walked back outside, looking now for the girl who wasn't like the others...

Nyx changed back into a human, and Shiesta nearly squeaked with delight when Turner let him go. The red fox ran to hide himself behind Nyx's legs. Nyx nodded a few times with a "it won't happen again, sir." And once the dean gave her permission to leave, she left without another question to go back and apologize to Lola and her lizard.
Seeing the girl, Nyx waved her hand to get Lola's attention. Shiesta had to scurry to keep up with her now that his legs were again much shorter than his human's. He panted a bit after stopping. ====== Mukesha trotted back to Galen who merely listened to Oka's words as she said them. He shrugged and looked down at the wolf near his side. He shrugged at her and made no other motion to speak. Instead, he turned towards the school building.
"Classes start soon." He said to her before he walked farther away.

Randy rubbed his chin while Jackson came up between his legs from behind, looking up at him with the frisbee in his mouth. He laughed and patted his head. "Most days, boring, I would say. Other days, great fun."
When Tabitha dropped to the ground on her stomach, Randy did too and so did Jackson, but the dog laid on his back. "Are we being shot at?" he asked. He followed her gaze to Turner, and he laughed softly. "You're from Franklin, aren't you? You're probably going to get me in trouble." He didn't seem to deterred by this idea. "Follow me," he whispered, crawling along the ground easily as if he knew how to walk on four legs. Jackson sneaked up behind him, liking the game.
He led her to a section of fence behind the storage shed where sports equipment was held. He pointed to the bottom, where part of the fence was pushed up and a small hole dug into the ground, just big enough for a dog to fit through. "You can crawl through there or," he said, bending down to one knee, "I can give you a leg up."
********
Penelope looked down the fence row, watching Randy and Tabitha. She knew Tabitha, of course, or at least her face. She didn't gain much interest from watching them, so she looked back at her book, turning a page.

Binx followed behind Zachary as they both walked along the school building. Binx's steps were lumbering but powerful, Zachary's were more dainty like a cheetah. When the sound like a twig snapping could be heard, both suddenly stopped and turned their heads toward the noise. Neither moved for the longest time, then they started walking again. The boy placing his gloved hand on the tiger's shoulder that was almost at the same height of his waist.

Turning and trying to crawling like they were was very difficult with the ankle problem. She just hurriedly scurried to where they were hidden behind a building. She laughed at Randy and Jackson doing the crawl. They were very entertaining. She saw the hole and looked at Jackson, "This wasn't from you was it?"
Hearing what Randy proposed was really kind. He wanted to help her out even though it meant that he could get into trouble. "I really appreciate the offer, really I do, but with this ankle... I think I'm going to have to do the old fashion thing and walk around the area to our side of the school."
She saw an opening and took it, scruffing the fur on Jackson's head. "Oh, you are so cute!" she said in a silly voice. She smiled at Randy and said, "I'll remember this passage for next time though. Mind if I come back and visit?"

Lola looked towards the school when the bell rang. "Really?" She yelled at it. "Really?? We don't get to put our stuff away? I was early!" She blew a stray lock of hair out of her face before realizing Nyx was on her way back. Now she sounded a little crazy. Oh well. "I didn't know what to do!" Lola told her as they approached again. "I'm glad that other girl was there to help!"
--------
Oka watched him walk off a little ways before turning back to Ulrik, rubbing her hand under his chin. He splayed his ears out lazily, enjoying the comforting touch. "My beautiful beast," She whispered to him. "I have to go inside, and your antlers won't fit through the door. Find me by the window." Oka patted the side of his jaw before walking towards the school.
Ulrik started to follow her, but when she reached the entrance he stopped and watched her disappear behind the door. His ears perked up and his head tilted a little bit, as if just that little bit could help him see beyond it into that hallway. ------
Jon heard their bell ring. They were starting classes. Which wouldn't that mean...He was gunna be late! Immediately, Jon burst into a run to try to make it to Franklin on time. He didn't want to make a bad impression on his first day. While he was running down the sidewalk, he passed a girl. Just standing there, reading. Something made him slow to a stop and he looked back at her before he began running again. --------
Tio scrambled to his feet and glanced Yawey's way. A sneaky little grin grew on his face and he ran over to her, who pranced in place excitedly as he hopped on. "YAH!" He shouted as he grabbed a fistfull of mane. Yawey broke into a canter towards the school doors. She had done this before. She knew. Tio laughed as wind whipped through his hair. Ulrik pranced in place as they raced past him through the doors.
----
"Time to go, Marbles." Korlosk spoke in a low voice, placing the kitten in his shirt pocket. The calico poked her head out, her ears perked forward in a curious manner as they began moving towards the school.

Tabitha waved her goodbyes and patted Jackson on the head before slowly limping her way to the street, and walking towards the Franklin School entrance. Turner had caught her finally, though it was too late and she was already off Rozlyn school property by the time he saw her. "You were lucky but don't come over here again. There will be great consequences."
She yessed him and limped onward, her ankle hurting more and more from the weight put on it. She grimaced in pain and Turner noticed. He noticed everything about everyone and knew that the more weight she put on it the worse it would get. In one sweeping motion, he picked the small girl up into his arms and began carrying her towards Franklin. She wasn't carried anywhere near how a real lady should be carried and she blushed over his shoulder, looking more like a sack of potatoes. "Put me down Turner! This is quite embarrassing for me! I can walk fine on my own."
"Your ankle is bothered and it could be broken. Protocol calls for me to attend to the wounds and injuries incurred while on school property. It is only my duty to do this. We are headed straight to the nurses office. I believe you know it very well." She blew some strands of hair out of her face, watching as Rozlyn school got smaller and smaller until he turned a corner and it couldn't be seen at all. She would head back directly after classes!
((So, whenever everyone is done and in class, we can start up again after classes. We can do it now if everyone is ready for that??))

(Alright, so since it's been several days and nobody has posted, I'm going to take it upon myself to post. From our discussions in TSG, this is what I've gathered:)
Finally, FINALLY the mandatory core classes were over! Robin opened the window the second the bell rang and stuck half of her body out of it, with her arms outstretched. Immediately the giant black raven swept into the girl's arms and cawed yet it sounded rather dignified. Making sure her bare skin never touched the bird, she moved her arms so that Tatu could perch on her shoulder. Taking her body out of the window, she promptly ignored the teacher's bemused expression and closed the window. The bird's claws pinched her skin immensely once more as she bent down to pick up her back.
"Now, Tatu, are the elective classes," she grinned, digging for another piece of dried fruit to feed to her animal guide. As she was walking, several kids moved so that she may pass. It was common knowledge that she practiced Witchcraft and, in her first year at Rozlyn, they made it known that they were scared of her power because they teased her. "Quick, guys! Move before she hexes you!" cried out some guy. It was really adorable because his own pet was a very cuddly bear that Tatu had befriended quickly.
Turning to him, she gave a wide grin and said, "Trust me, Bryan, I wouldn't be hexing you." She left it the implication hanging in the air as the kid tried to figure out what she meant. Continuing her walk through the halls, she was satisfied that the walk to the Gymnasium, where the School-wide elective was held. As per usual, the other kids were filing in but her seat in the very back of the bleachers was empty. Tatu immediately perched on the safety bar and looked at her.
"I thought I found a Temple of Fire but she turned out to be a fake, trying to learn my secrets," she murmured to the bird. Living in this relatively small city made it hard for her to find someone who was "into" the same things she was. Back in New York, when Robin had been in middle school, she had been the Vessel of Air, her cardinal point being East, and her three best friends just happened to be each of the other elements and they made a coven.
It had been two years since she last saw them. Blinking slowly, the noise levels had gone up to the maximum around her.

The bell rang and Tabitha jolted from her seat. She had slept directly through half of the wrong classes as she had not moved from the seat that she sat in for fourth period. She wiped any drool away with the back of her hand and began to gather her belongings. A teacher walked up to her and cleared his throat, "Tabitha, I never knew you liked math enough to sleep through it 6 times. I hope some of what I talked about sunk in, hm?" He looked down at her from his behind his spectacle and frowned. He must have frowned a lot because the frown lines were still there after he stopped. She tried smiling sweetly.
She said with her sweetest voice, "But Mr. Henny, your voice is just so lulling! You have a soothing tone that I just can't help but be caught by. Oh, how I wish I were a stronger girl! I will try my best next time." She had become good at telling untruths. She didn't really see it as lying, just fake complimenting. Mr Henny's voice was one of the most monotoned and droning. His lectures were like Ben Stein talking. How could she not fall asleep?!
"Come after class on Monday to make up the work you missed." She saluted to his back, sticking out her tongue. She gathered her books that were a little wet from drool and stood. Her leg was feeling much better now since being wrapped by the nurse. It was funny that the nurse wasn't even shocked anymore by Tabitha's injuries. She thought about what she could do after school today and only thing popped into her head. Rozlyn Academy....
-----------
Mid-sentence writing notes down from the chalkboard and Turner stopped as the bell rang. He placed his pens and pencils back into the exact order that they were taken out and the pencils were sharpened before being returned. He placed his notebooks carefully back into his bag and made sure his clothing was unwrinkled and everything was in place. Taking a look at his hair in the reflection of the window he fixed one piece that was out of place. He passed the teacher while exiting, "Thank you for another fulfilling class lesson. I look forward to tomorrow's class as well."
After having Turner as a student for the past 3 years, the teachers were still not used to his demeanor and personality. They always seemed on edge when he was around; afraid that they might make a mistake.
He checked his watch and went into the boys bathroom. He went into the third stall as he did every day at this EXACT time. He opened the top to his messenger bag. It looked like Turner wasn't the only one who knew his scheduling down to a 'T'. There was Hops, looking excited with both ears perked up. Turner grabbed a small ziplock bag from an outer pocket of the bag and grabbed a few piece of the banana yogurt papaya and began to feed the little critter. It was Hop's favorite! Turner almost looked happy as the bunny ate each piece, his nose wiggling back and forth while he did so. Two minutes and he was already heading out of the bathroom and on to his job.
He headed directly towards the gymnasium of Rozlyn High.
-------------
Camile, known as Cam, was not like any teacher that would be describe in a dictionary. Honestly, she hated the word teacher and didn't like to be called one. But, she couldn't be called student anymore either so she was stuck between a rock and a hard place. She told everyone, every year, the same thing. 'Call me Cam. I'm not old enough to be called Miss or Mrs, understand?'
She was leaning against a wall, watching the kids file into the gymnasium and knowing exactly who were who. The overachievers and the freshman were almost always in the front couple rows of the bleachers. In the middle were a mix of the juniors and sophmores and in the back were the delinquents(by the schools rulings) and the seniors. You had to be someone special or a reputation to be able to sit in the back. She saw one of her favorite students and gave a nod towards her. She wasn't the type to wave, but to acknowledge in a nod was sufficient enough.
She looked around for the other teacher that was supposed to be handling the class with her to no avail. Where was he?
She had already put up a protective barrier around the gymnasium so that it became almost invisible. It was pretty funny to watch the new kids bump into the building when they aren't used to it. She would normally be standing outside but her partner was not here to stand inside. She huffed, very annoyed at the fact that she was being made to wait.

(If no one else wants to do it, I could switch Korlosk to a male teacher since he's pretty minor right now anyways and no one's interacted with him, or I can just give him away to someone if the only problem is that no one wants to create another character, they can just change his name or not or whatever.)
[Insert Korlosk action here] Now, to get everyone else to the gym... ----------
Lola went to her locker when the bell rang for the last class thing. She put some books away, stacking them on top of her bags she hadn't had a chance to put in her room and grabbed the cage her lizard was in. "Sorry I left you in here, boy. I didn't want to take the chance." She said, slightly ashamed as she lifted the cage up, shut her locker, and began walking towards the gym. She sat in the middle where there were fewer people, setting the cage down next to her. "Be good." She told him.
------
Oka opened up the window to Ulrik's beckoning gaze. She grabbed hold of two antler points with her gloved hands and he stepped back and lifting his head up, pulling her out of the room. She let go and dropped to the ground when he lowered his head again, spun around, and gently shut the window again before they began their way to the gym. She sat up at the front at the edge of the bleachers so Ulrik could lay next to her. ---------
Tio rode Yawey at a gallop to the gym, whooping and hollering the whole way, raising a ruckus, when Yawey stopped dead in her tracks and Tio went flying over her head, and smack into an invisible wall. He groaned as he slid to the ground upside down. Yawey came up and nuzzled his hair. "You knew! You knew it was there and you just...PFF!" He tried to shoo her away to no avail. She licked him and he couldn't help but laugh. Even that smack failed to slow him. He got up, though he ached, and walked into the gym, sitting in the front so Yawey could reach him, but so she could wander away as well.
------
Jon shoved all his things inside his bad and sped out of class. He'd have to be careful to get back in, he'd have to look out for that Turner fellow. He'd have to act like he had to walk past the school to go somewhere if he saw him, but if not, maybe he could just walk on campus again...maybe. He was excited.
(blaaahhh...bed)

Randy sat about 3/4ths of the way up the bleachers, Jackson sitting beside him on the bench. He was huddling up again Randy, not liking to be around so many people. But with his boy's arm around him, he was able to cope.
When he thought no one was looking, Randy slipped the border collie a treat, but he wasn't rude enough to eat it in front of so many people. Randy tried to coax him to eat it, but he wouldn't, so he slipped the treat back into his pocket.
********
Zachary didn't even sit on the bleacher. He stood off to the side, leaning against the wall. Binx the white tiger was curled up at his feet, watching everything without seeming to be paying attention. The boy was much the same way, his eyes half closed but his ears intent on every sound.
**********
Penelope sat down in the same place she always did after classes - underneath the biggest tree in the school yard. It gave plenty of shade, but when you sat just right, there was a gasp in the branches just enough to light up her book as she read.

Once the noise had reached it's maximum volume and all 300 some-odd Rozlyn High student body was packed in the auditorium, a small door on the side burst open and a giant Eurasian Owl came flying through it. The bird had a wing span of just about 6 and a half feet and weighed nearly ten pounds. She circled the auditorium before taking her perch on the rim of the basketball hoop. In that time, a tall, regal looking man in a simple black suit came walking out. His hair was already snowy white and was capped with a top hat.
Carrying a small, black leather briefcase and a walking cane, he, "Ahemed" shortly and gave a congenial nod to the teachers and seniors now seemingly guarding the doors. Once the auditorium quieted, which actually took awhile, his big, white mustache twitched ever so slightly and he held out his arm for his giant owl. For the large bird to perch on the 60-some-odd old man took quite some muscle on his part and yet, you couldn't really tell.
On purpose, the man had not worn gloves and, while he rarely did, he tried to maintain the unofficial dress code of Rozlyn High School by wearing his white gloves during school hours. Intentionally, he stroked the large bird with his bare hand to show the new incoming Freshman what exactly they were expected to learn and attempt. Like every year, the new students gasped while the elder students tensed in frustration.
Without using a microphone, he allowed the bird to fly off once more and put a hand on the small of his wife's back, urging her to continue with the now-captivated students.
(Yea, I still haven't decided on a first name so he will be Sir WhateverCam'sLastNameIs)

Camille rolled her eyes at the flashy entrance of her hubby. She went to step in front of him, pushing herself off the wall. In passing, she whispered around the toothpick that sat between her lips, "You're late. Did you have to take a nap and lose track of time, old man?"
She stopped at the center of the gymnasium, stomping her feet together to show authority. The gym was silent. She moved the toothpick from one side of her mouth to the other. $She frowned at the group, thinking that it was a pathetic looking bunch. She removed the toothpick as you would a cigarette, having given up cigarettes and taking up toothpicks, said, "So, you want to be able to touch your animals, to have some control, without changing, right?" She eyed the group, noticing a few that shrank in their seats and a few others that smirked. She had an overpowering evil aura about her that most weaker persons would fall prey to.
She turned her back to the audience, sauntering towards the wall again and continued, "Many of you sitting here right now will never get your license to freely use your powers and most of you will never even fully be able to control your animal instincts." She held emphasis on her words, intimidating some and smiling because of it.
"My name is Camille Langbrunner and this old man," she gestured towards the man with the top hat, "Is Sir Langbrunner, my-"
"Your Father?" someone in the masses had shouted. She turned to face and try to find the person, with know luck. She dipped her head slightly, bringing her hand that was near her mouth to her forehead and placing a tense finger there with obvious annoyance. She dragged that same finger down the side of her face while raising her head, almost drawing blood as her fingernail dug in as showing her frustration with that remark. It happened all the time yet she still always seemed upset by it. She was the only one allowed to say he was old or comment on his age!
"He is my husband," she said as a few whispers went about and gasps were heard. "And if another punk says anything about it, I'll personally make the rest of their high school career unbearable! Got it?!" She took a breathe and calmed herself a bit. She then started again.
"I want to be called Cam, not Camille, not Miss, not Mrs, and I never want to hear Langbrunner when referring to me, understand? Sir Langbrunner and I are in charge of your training in controlling and maintaining your human form even when touching your, or any, animal. Also, we will teach you how to retain certain powers that you receive from your bond with your animal without touching them. Like so."
And as she said that, she disappeared. Everyone looked around, but she could not be seen. Her voice came from a different area than where she stood before. "You will learn a lot from us, but you have to be willing to listen! I do not, and will not, train anyone who thinks they know everything and that will not listen." She reappeared and looked around the room. She narrowed her eyes intimidating like and said to Langbrunner, "Anything further that you think we need to add, old man?"

He honestly had no idea how he fell in love with this brash woman. She was so young, so stubborn, and so stressful compared to his own calm physique. Admittedly, he was quite lucky to have her. "Actually, dear wife," he started happily, "I didn't get my nap for today. Naturally, I may be a wee bit cranky due to my old, senile age, of course." It was Cam's way of showing affection... or, in any case, that's what Sir Langbrunner had hoped when he married the woman.
As the student in the crowd shouted out, "Your father!" Sir Langbrunner's mustache only twitched and a small smile met his lips. As his wife was trying to regain her composure, he simply clasped his hands behind his back and rocked back and forth a little. Like his wife was to demonstrate, their animal attributes could be retained and used as wished and before the boy had even finished his last syllable, Sir Langbrunner's eyes had caught the delinquent.
The next part was always his favorite. For some strange reason, he just loved to hear Camille tell a crowd of unsuspecting children that he had married such a beautiful woman and that she willingly admitted it. The looks on most of the new students were great. From high up, he felt Purdue nearly roll her eyes at him. Was it so crazy for an old man like him to feel such pride? The gigantic bird hooted and shifted on the basketball hoop and Sir Langbrunner simply smiled on.
At long last Camille's introductions were finished and it was his turn once more. "No, my Pearl, I've nothing to add. Shall I finish?" he asked her. Once he had her approval, he turned back to the students and said, "Most seniors and juniors have no need to be taught the basics and fundamentals. If you would please stay seated, as my wife will conduct that part. As for the new incoming Freshman and the Sophomores, if you would please stand and accompany me outside. You will be split up into groups as you leave single file. If you do not leave in a happy, single file manner, Purdue will bite you hard." His eyes swept to his other colleagues as they heard "outsides" and "freshman and sophomores" and looks of horror erupted.
Unclasping his hands from behind him, he bent down and picked up his briefcase and when he stood, he looked to Turner and a few of the other senior class volunteers and said, "If you would please follow me, Mr. Turner'sLastName. I believe you will be in my group with some of my favorite individuals!"

Randy looked down at Jackson and his dog seemed to smile back up at him. He patted his head with a gloved hand. "Someday, boy," Randy promised. "I'll scratch you behind your ears so much they'll fall off." Jackson barked once as if he understood, wagging his tail back and forth happily.
Zachary stayed leaning against the wall, watching the other sophmores and the freshmen leave the gym. He followed last, Binx yawning and stretching before lumbering after him.
