Holy freaking cow.
Gonna break this down:

First of all...I hope the VO is Roku.  I really hope the VO is Roku.

The shot of the glaciers is beautiful.  The waterbenders moving the boat?  Really good detail.  I love the motion of it, and also the repeated lantern motif for the Water Tribe.

The iceberg design is taken straight from the show, looks even better in a real life setting.

Aang is then doing some moves in front of an island, and the moves look somewhere in between air and waterbending, but he's not moving anything.  I want to know where he is!

And then the shot that's so like the series that I had to back it up to see if that's what I really saw.  So faithfully rendered, and it looks like it's all women and children out there, except for Sokka. Also, note the huts in the background.  Cool.

Random Firebenders being evil, but I like it, especially with the rotating shot of Aang witnessing the destruction.  He looks really young in that shot to me, and I think it really makes the scene poignant.

The firebending/earthbending scene was so, dare I say it, real. The way that the earthbender was completely physically entrenched in his effort to keep the wall up against the fire was very cool, and I like what they're doing with the bending here.

Then some shots of Aang doing some general butt whooping.  Looks good, but like Atalla, I kinda hope that's the slow-mo version.  Airbending's supposed to be light, agile, quick, and though this is dramatically cool, I'd like to see it stay true to form.

And then the Waterbending.  At first, I was slightly disappointed that the water wasn't as neatly pulled together in one solid liquid form, but the way this looks makes it even more real to me.  I like it.

The only thing I'm slightly disappointed with is the image of the Avatar State. And that's kinda nitpicky, really.  The eyes look dumb.  Other than that, good work again.

The set design and attention to detail seem really good, and the coloring keeps a pretty stylistic look that reminds me of the show.

I like the music for promotional purposes, but the music of the first was what I'm hoping to see in the whole movie.  That was pretty well developed.

The first trailer was exciting, pretty and dramatic.  But now I'm really excited.

Haha, I try.  Also, something else I noticed: Aang and Sokka are behind the firebender (who I'm pretty sure is Zhao) that attacks the earthbender.  Speculation?

I don't see Assif in that picture, no offense.
And if it is, I'mma be hella pissed, because that is no Zhao.

Aang and Sokka look decent though.

Do you guys think the waterbender in that scene is Pakku?  I keep watching it and hte hair looks grey so I'm thinking it's him...

Plus Katara wasn't that great in the first season except at the very end.

Edit: and it just looks like a man.

Hmmm...maybe it isn't.  There is a distinct lack of sideburns.

And it would be awesome if it's Pakku.

Oh and there are The Last Airbender reviews out...

Two people reviewed it.
Both said the scenes were not done and special FX needed to be completed. Aside from that, two different reviews.
Neither had seen the show, I believe.

Good
Said he thought Noah Ringer played the title character well.
Thought Sokka was dramatically over the top.
Said Dev Patel and Shaun Taub (the later especially) did a good job of carrying the movie.
Found it amusing to see a bald woman as Ringer's stunt double
Thought the score was amazing.
Said it felt more like a Narnia type movie, than a Lord of The Rings epic.

Bad
Thought Aang sucked
Thought Sokka was horrible and was only in the movie to bring in Twilight fans...
Said Cliff Curtis (Ozi) and Dev Patel were the only saving grace.
Didn't have a score.
Said Assif should never act again.
Thought the moie needed a lot of re-shoots to be any good.

I have to get the link from Dezi, but I`ll post it eventually.

I feel like it was obvious this was going to be more a Narnia movie.  A group of kids saving the world vs a group of adults splitting up and leading separate armies and stuff...It makes more sense that this would be like Narnia.  It's based on a cartoon, it's going to have that feel good wrap up feeling that you don't always get with LOTR.  LOTR has more space to explore darkness and evil than Avatar will.

And I see Katara, but not Iroh or the Blue Spirit. Sad

Iroh isn`t fat.
Shaun Taub is off to the right side when he draws the fire and seems to be rolling away, when he attacks the Earthbender.
He`s in your Sokka Aang Picture even.
Zuko is the guy fighting beside Aang. I think you see his swords for a secon,d but not sure. But I swear there was a blue glint when he ducks down. It`s hard to see due to the hair though.

THAT was Iroh?  I knew he wasn't fat, but that seems so out of character, for hiim to be ducking and rolling away.

I'm not convinced it's the Blue Spirit, but I wouldn't put it out of the realm of possibility.

I do really like the detail in Aang's arrow.  The more I see it, the more I like it, and I'm glad they have it continuing down his back.

I just hope they dont pull a Snyder on this film, and do all the bending in slow motion. Cause that would totally suck. The beauty of bending besides the choreography, is the speed  in which they do it in.

I am rather happy with the teaser. I think the bending looks good, more so than I had hoped. I cant say much, seeing as I've only seen the teaser twice, but after I take a good hard look at it in HD I'll be back with my share. Still, I have high hopes for this movie. (I rather enjoyed the Narnia movies anyways. XD)
