Katherine sorely wished she could see the square better from this part of the crowd. Her escort (that she always had to have when she went into the city) refused to allow her to climb on top of building or house so that she could see better. Well, actually... Katherine attempted to bargain with him so that he'd not tell anyone if she did but he was stubborn and didn't think it proper. Secretly, Katherine didn't think it proper, either, but this was important enough to put comforts aside to see her best friend off.

In any case, after being shot down in her failed negotiating, she didn't think asking him if she could sit on his shoulders would merit a positive response either so she simply stood on her tippy toes.

However, even where she was standing, there was no mistaking what she first thought was just a random man. Actually, she thought this random man was trying to ruin the parade but then she realized it was Clouver. "Wait, is that Prince Clouver?" she asked while still on her tippy toes and tugging on her escort's sleeve- he was much taller than she. He grunted which she only took to mean that it was.

blah, blah, blah, she's not actually interacting with anyone...

---

Uhm, Bruce followed on? I dunno... he rode along and didn't realize it was strange that the prince was there early because he lives in his own happy little expecting-father world.

---

Milos continued drawing ponies in the dirt.

---

Selene doesn't strike me as a snorer or a spooner so no funny posts about how she sleeps.

---

And I'm sorely sorry that this post sucks but my characters aren't doing anything cool so yea...

Words were beyond what Oliviia could manage after the events that had occurred.

From the blur of what she could remember, her brother Clouver had showed up unexpectedly demanding that the pilgrimage put on hold in order for investigations to commence on the mysterious 'darkness' that threatened her life and the entire lifestyle of their kingdom. That she was in danger. She wasn't quite sure how her brother had come to find this out, but he was entirely serious and their parents took it in disbelief.

The scene inside the town square was not a pretty thing to behold as her parents' first reaction was to take things as a joke and soon to be followed by anger. Clouver had not let down throughout the entire exchange, had even attempted to take her off her horse and refuse her to leave. But as could be expected, the King and Queen were not thrilled that tradition was being broken so drastically before their eyes and without any remorse at all ordered guards to send her dearest brother to the asylum for talking about completely impossible absurd things. And soon enough after the crowds had settled and the King and Queen's ruffled feathers were semi-in-place, off they sent their daughter into the world for the first time, speechless and bewildered. The last time she would ever see them again...

The Dragon Guard had stopped for the night at a small town and were gathered at dinner at the local inn.
